First round of voting on the stimulus package in the Senate today. Republicans and Centrists were creating a whiplash epidemic patting themselves on the back on the Sunday talk circuit. Cut from the Senate version is billions of dollars in education and children’s health. The sad irony is that this centrist cabal has made the most severe cuts in funding from the very people who will ultimately foot the bill for this package – America’s children. Shameless.
